Learning About the Prostate Gland

The prostate is a gland that's best described as the size of a chestnut. It is also only a male organ, and it is located under the bladder surrounding the urethra, the passageway that takes the urine to the outside. The gland produces seminal fluid, which is mixed with sperm to make semen.

As a man ages and matures, the prostate goes through two main periods of growth. It first occurs early in puberty, when the prostate doubles in size. At around the age 25, the gland begins to grow again. This second growth phase often results, years later, in Benign prostate. Writing something about zithromax uti seemed to be something illogical in the beginning. However, with the progress of matter, it seemed logical.   During most of a man's life the prostate continues to grow, the enlargement doesn't usually cause problems until later in life. But more than half of men as many as 90 percent have symptoms of benign prostate gland somewhere after there forties. We had at first written a rough assignment on zithromax uti. Then after a few improvisions and enhancements here and there, we have ended up with this end product.

When the prostate keeps enlarging, the layer of tissue surrounding it stops it from expanding, causing the gland to press against the urethra like a clamp. The bladder wall then becomes thicker and irritable. It starts to contract even when it contains small amounts of urine, causing more frequent urination. Eventually, the bladder starts to weaken and it loses the ability to empty itself, so some of the urine remains in the bladder.

Some of the symptoms of prostate gland enlargement are weak urine stream, difficulty starting urination, stopping and straining while urinating, frequent need to urinate, increased frequency of urination at night, urgent need to urinate, not being able to completely empty the bladder, blood in urine, and urinary tract infection. Opportunity knocks once. So when we got the opportunity to write on zithromax uti, we did not let the opportunity slip from our hands, and got down to writing on zithromax uti.

Will a urinary tract infection urine test show that I have smoked marijuana?

  • asked on Mon, 15 Feb, 2010
I may have to take another test to see if my urinary tract infection has gone away, but I have smoked weed. Do you think it will register on the test?
  • Mrs. S replied on Mon, 15 Feb, 2010
Only if they are looking for it which is highly unlikely. They would need to perform a specific test for drug residue, which I doubt they will do since they are testing for bacteria.

They would never test for THC by-products in a medical test for a UTI. It costs to much extra money. Your health insurance provider would never pay for that unnecessary extra testing. In addition you can tell your doctor about anything you have done. There are strict laws about doctor and patient confidentiality. Within reason of course. You can't tell them you are about to commit a murder or that you grow 4000 marijuana plants. Obviously. However you can ask them about the adverse health affects of you using marijuana for recreational. You have no reason to fear legal recourse. I told my doctor many times that I smoke weed. The only thing you may have to worry about is your insurance premium may rise due to your smoking. Although I cannot quote laws pertaining that. Your doctor might be able to disclose information to your provider about it... which could disqualify you from coverage. Although this is all highly unlikely as you are getting tested for a UTI. Your health insurance would never condone unnecessary testing. Good luck don't be to paranoid even though it's really difficult sometimes!!! :)
