Natural Bladder Cancer Treatment

Bladder cancer is the eight most common in females, fourth most common cancer in males, and fifth leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States. It is twice as common in Caucasians as in African-Americans, four times more common in men than women, and is usually diagnosed later in life.

Causes and risk factors

The cause of bladder cancer is not known. Smoking is the number one factor associated with bladder cancer. Also linked to bladder cancer are exposure to certain chemicals, such as benzidines, aniline dyes, naphthalenes; radiation exposure; heredity; possibly extremely high consumption of saccharin; a history of schistosomiasis (a tropical disease); chronic urinary tract infections or inflammation; and working in the dye, chemical, rubber, and leather industries.

 Signs and symptoms

Often symptoms do not appear in the early stages. The first warning sign is usually blood in the urine. Other symptoms can be pain and burning with urination, increased frequency of urination, and difficulty urinating.

Natural Bladder Cancer Treatment Nutritional recommendation

Taking vitamin A, vitamin C and E, and a multivitamin and minerals have shown reductions in the risk of getting bladder cancer. Dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) is an FDA-approved, nontoxic solvent that has been shown to aid in treatment. Eating the USDA-recommended number of servings of fruits such as apples, berries, cherries, oranges pears, and tomatoes can reduce the risk by 45percent. Drinking especially pure water, and a lot of liquids, helps to dilute carcinogens and increase urination, lessening the time any carcinogens in the bladder have to do any damage. Brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli and kale have been credited with lowering the risk of bladder cancer due to their antioxidant and other cancer fighting compounds.

Another important alternative treatment for bladder cancer is the application of "The One Minute Cure. Madison Cavanaugh, author of the Ebook, The Secret to Healing Virtually All Diseases" has a message of hope, however. She insists that,?? "Microbes, germs, harmful bacteria and viruses, and all kinds of cancer, do not cause the problem they're only effects of a hidden cause," she states. They do only seek their natural habitat such as an oxygen- deficient body rather than being the cause of the disease. Oxygenated body is uninhabitable by viruses and all kinds of diseases, Madison further states, any viruses and malignant cancer cells can neither survive nor thrive in it. Therefore, the best defense against microbes, germs, harmful bacteria and viruses, and all kinds of cancer cells is to keep the environment of our body oxygenated.

Cat had a urinary tract infection and now pees everywhere?

  • Juliananananana asked on Sun, 28 Mar, 2010
My six month old cat recently developed a urinary tract infection and we brought him to the vet and he is now on a special medicine and diet. Ever since then, though, he has been peeing everywhere (on clothes, beds, even in our bath tub) as if he was never litter box trained! Does anyone know why this is or what we should do?
  • sheidu5 replied on Sun, 28 Mar, 2010
It is letting you know that something isn't right. If the med. doesn't help him or her within a couple days, get it back to the vet. It can kill a cat.
  • Shadow replied on Sun, 28 Mar, 2010
Either he is still experiencing pain or these places still smell like urine. Get an enzymatic cleaner to clean the places where he goes so that it doesn't still smell like an appropriate place to pee. Also call your vet tomorrow, phone calls are free and it wont hurt anything, ask if this behavior should still be continuing. It is possible that he needs a different dosage or medicine. Remember not all antibiotics fight all infections. Of course, do not stop giving any medicine without your vet's knowledge as it can prolong or inhibit the healing or create antibiotic resistant bacteria. It could also be that you haven't given the medication enough time to work. You didn't say how long ago he was put on it.

that is the first sign of a urinary tract infection . call the vet and ask how long it should be doing that . the meds might not be working
  • Nubia Blaque loves babies replied on Sun, 28 Mar, 2010
    give him amoxicillin..po 2x daily
  • Leopardlady replied on Sun, 28 Mar, 2010
He is letting you know something isn't right. He was litter trained before, and now he is trying to let you know he is still sick. Can you lock him in a room so he does not soil everything you own? Also talk to the vet. Maybe he needs a change in the meds, depending on how long he has been on them.
  • claire cool replied on Sun, 28 Mar, 2010
its not his fault that he pees just block him of in a room till he is better
  • DaniG replied on Sun, 28 Mar, 2010
He might still be in pain and you should take him to the vet asap. If he's actually better, then he probably needs to be retrained to use the litter box. He has associated the pain of the urinary tract infection with the litter box. Monitor him so if you see he starts scratching through your clothes or your bed sheets (like he would do with the litter) it means he's going probably going to pee. Clap your hands or something to make him stop. Then take him to the litter box. If he's good and uses it, give him a treat. Just be patient. And don't get angry at him, it's not his fault. Remember also to keep the litter box clean My kitty also got an UTI and was peeing on my bed. Now she's doing just fine :)
